Judge resigns: 'Mistakes I have made in my personal life have become public'
Fox19 (Cincinnati)
Published: June 22, 2024
Clermont County Municipal Court Judge Jesse Kramig admitted, in a private meeting with the court administrator, that he had "an inappropriate, non-physical relationship" with Allison Kersker, an administrative assistant on his own court's staff. Kersker separately described it as an "emotional" relationship. Both denied a physical relationship, and a subsequent investigation closed without any criminal charges being filed.
The situation became public after allegations circulated on social media that Kramig and Kersker had spent time together in a local park during a workday. The court's other two judges asked Kramig to step down the following day. Kramig resigned on June 22, 2024. In his resignation letter, he wrote that "mistakes I have made in my personal life have become public" and apologized for the impact on his family.
