The Commission found Boyd livestreamed court proceedings and engaged with viewers outside official court business, including hosting a book club on the channel that allowed real-time viewer comments and messages about ongoing proceedings and the participants in them. Separately, the Commission cited specific courtroom conduct: after rejecting a plea agreement in a case, Boyd improperly inserted herself into the plea negotiations, personally asking whether the defendant would accept a 20-year prison sentence offer. The public warning becomes part of Boyd's permanent disciplinary record but does not remove her from the bench.
