Nancy Saitta Reprimanded

Nancy Saitta, a Nevada senior judge, was reprimanded by the state Commission on Judicial Discipline in December 2023 after admitting she failed to timely resolve outstanding motions and matters while assigned to a complex civil breach-of-contract case, Albert Thomas v. ME/LGSR Holdings, LLC, in the Second Judicial District Court between February 2021 and September 2022. Saitta admitted the delay violated the Code of Judicial Conduct's requirements that judges comply with the law and perform their judicial and administrative duties competently and diligently, and agreed not to seek future appointments as a senior judge in Nevada. This was Saitta's second public reprimand as a senior judge for the same type of conduct — in 2022, she had already consented to a public reprimand over similar delays in resolving a complex divorce matter while assigned to the Eighth Judicial District Court in Clark County.
