Martin Fallon, a District Court judge in Alaska's Third Judicial District at Kenai, was publicly reprimanded by the Alaska Supreme Court after the state Commission on Judicial Conduct found he failed to decide a case within the six-month timeframe required by the Alaska Code of Judicial Conduct — and then signed sworn pay affidavits falsely attesting that none of his pending matters had gone undecided for six months or longer. The Commission found Fallon signed at least three such affidavits even after another judge had directly brought the overdue matter to his attention. The Alaska Supreme Court adopted the Commission's recommendation and issued the public reprimand in 2024.
