Joseph Farah Removed

Joseph Farah, a Genesee County, Michigan 7th Circuit Court judge, was relieved of his in-person docket in August 2022 and worked remotely following a sexual harassment investigation. Grace Ketzner, a third-year law student who interned under Farah, said he sexually harassed her from June through October 2021; the court received her complaint in September 2021 and referred it for investigation. Michigan State University's Resolution Office, which reviewed the intern's Title IX complaint, found evidence supporting that Farah violated the university's Title IX policy and its Policy on Relationship Violence and Sexual Misconduct. Farah retired from the bench effective November 9, 2022.
