Nathan Milliron

Nathan J. Milliron, a Harris County, Texas civil court judge, is abusive and derogatory toward the people in his courtroom — and it's on video. Milliron, judge of the 215th District Court in Harris County, went viral in late March 2026 after video from his livestreamed courtroom captured him losing his temper at a courthouse IT staffer who had just finished helping him fix a technology issue. In the clip, Milliron is heard telling the worker, "We're good. Thank you. Get out of my courtroom," before turning to a deputy and saying, "Find his supervisor. Jesus Christ. I'm sick and tired of this bulls--- today." The exchange was posted to social media, where one clip drew nearly 3 million views on X; Milliron was widely referred to online as "Karen the Judge" in the aftermath.

A separate clip from Milliron's courtroom shows him cutting off a defense attorney mid-argument, telling her she was "wasting his time" before denying her motion. When she attempted to respond, Milliron directed his deputy to have her removed from the courtroom.

Local attorneys later rallied outside the Harris County courthouse, calling the move judicial overreach, and past emails between Milliron and the Harris County District Clerk's office surfaced showing a pattern of friction between the judge and courthouse staff predating the viral video. When reporters sought comment, Milliron's office said he was unavailable because he was in trial. No disciplinary action against Milliron has been reported as of this writing.
